To what explanation will give to our children
For keeping them at home for this long
With the excuses of not been able
To meet up with the demand of lecturers
Who are left in their care to nurture and teach our children
Just in a bid to meet their demands
And alas this same government officials
Says to them back that they can not

To carry out their demands

While our children stay the longer at home

As political parties begin to gear up for 2023
A lot of scenes of drama outplays in their rallies and primaries
As the campaign train and van begin to move
From one city to another city we see the rain of Naira
As some step up their game in bringing in Dollar bags and van
All these sparkles up real thought-provoking questions
That floods the mind of many in our dear nation
But the strike that kept back our children at home for long
Was due to poor pay of lecturers take home
With the amenities in various higher institutions of learning
Then where did all these rains of Naira and Dollar suffice from
Is that the CBN never know about the money bag been circulated around
Or are they not aware of the demands of ASSU for months
Which keeps our children the future of the great dear nation
At home for weeks without nothing been done
While other sectors are looking like kwashiorkor system
Void of maltreatment and nutrient for proper funding
To keep it up and healthy in running well
Of what is the end to all the Dollar rain at our political party primaries
For the future of this great nation in respect of tomorrow
