TO THE STREET: THE STATE OF THE NATION

All our life we’ve live in peace
In the environment we were used to
Know so much clamminess the surrounds it
So fresh smelling scantly habitat
To the street

Full of love void of hate
Where love leads and dwells
Full of peace not tranquillity
Where is our motor and watchword
To the street

Where children plays at will
Far and near their home
Where nothing like fear of been kidnap is
As everyone loves the street
Because the street is home for all

The land flows with milk and honey
So much and plenty for all to survive
As each comes weren’t no need or room for fear
As each room is filled with peace
To the street

Where everything is working out fine
The security network is intact
And never broken down by faceless being
Where there is faster development
Visiting the land and the street flourish

To the street
Where hope is lost and gone with the wind
And we have threw caution of surviving into the air
And we begin to hide and seek for refuge
While long the government has failed

There is no one to trust
Fear is the order of the day
Each one for himself and God for us all
To the street where we kill at will
Fighting each other in the name of religion

We cried and pray
To the extent we’re losing faith
Of the street coming back to normalcy
Like it used to be back in those good old days
To the street we lost its peace and stability.
