We live in a country
Where we are no longer at home again
We can not travel a long distant
To see long distant relatives and friends
Our security network is broken down.
We no longer
Use the soil on our land
To get food for our land anymore
As anyone who dares goes to the farm
Is at the mercy of the kidnappers.
We can no longer
Seat when the moon appears at night
To listen to tales by moonlight
By our father who dishes our stories
That is embedded in our cultural and historical heritage.
Our home is no longer home
Who would have thoughts
That after the epidemic of corruption
That hits our nation that we have the next pandemic
Of insurgence in our land ravaging our peaceful co-existence.
As our leaders have lost it
They no longer have the heart for the masses
Is now every man for himself
And God for us all
Even rich man self no get security.
Then what is the fate of the poor man?
