Why Do You Write?

Tadeusz Breza, Polish writerImage via Wikipedia
For everything one does in life
Has a reason for doing such things
Preachers preach to change life
Musician sings to entertain
Actors and actress perform drama or play
To entertain, writers write to inform

Sum up into one goal…one aim
To inform and educated
Taking their audience
From the level they melt them
To a whole new level change
The most constant thing in life

To you out there my fellow
Young writer; why do you write?
To make money…to influence
To gain fame…to furnish with information
To exist for a season and fade away with time or
To remain living like a life in the heart of readers

Today we have so many of them
Those who have made giant strides
In the written world some dead some alive
Some left a footprint in the sands of time
With a work that can never fade with time
Some are gone with the winds never live to remember

To you a living legend writer
While you’re gone or
Dead legend once dead never to remember
While you’re gone like a candle in the wind
Gone with the wind never to be remember or
Gone with the wind always remembered

Think it all over, why do you write?
To cause war with your words…your articles
Does it stare up the mind of men for peace or war?
Does it bring glory to God?
Be careful of how you use your words
Cause you may be affecting a life
Positively or negatively, why do you write?
