Democracy Day: In Searching of Lasting Democracy

I was born in the month of May
And the Lord of May bless that month
Making it so special that our nation
Was visited by that Lord of May
Making her become democrat on that same month
May 29 was the day she become a democrat state

But after many years
The question on every lips is
Are we really democrat indeed and practice
Does the constitution live out what was written in it?
Not just written but been lived out practice to the letter

To every minute details
Or we are just chasing shadow
Walking in the dark fooling ourselves
Never want to come to the knowledge of the truth
Everything seem not to be fine but we carry along as if all is well

We’ve come thus far
And I see that now is the time
To wake up search for that missing black goat
Before night falls or else it will be lost forever
We are in search of that lasting democracy

Where and how was it lost?
When was it lost?
What happen to it?
We’ve got to ask questions
To seek nothing else but real truthful sincere answer
We can’t seat and pretends as if all is well even in the well

I call on every one
Who believes in this nation?
Who got what it takes to wake up to the call
The call of nation building is never to left to certain individuals
That calls to change the course of our beloved nation

Am not calling for complainers
Neither am calling those who have lost faith
Am not calling on government critics
Neither am I searching for a temporal democracy
But am in search of a lasting democracy
And that person is no other person but you reading this! With myself not left out
