Building A Nation!!!

Some years back we long for a nation
When I mean a nation not a mere “mega nation”
One in sense where the mind is at home
Never to be a strangers at home but citizen
Bearing and carrying the national passport

Decades has come and gone
Our nation how is it today in the eye
Of a new millennium where innovation has caught up with modernity
Year in year out we carry along
The slogan one day it will get better

In the land where you and I
Occupies the position of a first class citizens
Not a stranger in our own fatherland better still motherland
Permit me for using those words
Suffering within but smiling outside

Faking what should not be
Corruption has been an age long time war
And yet administrations come and go
The war has never been won
Even talking about a conquest

Some years back we can sit and enjoy
The calmliness and peacefulness
Of our nation, but what of today now
Inflation keep raising…the naira get weaker
Every second we go on strike for government to meet our demand

The rich becoming richer vast in assets and investments
Our street are void and highways of good roads and lightens
What of the falling standard of education
Committing crimes of all sorts just at will
Kidnapping, terrorists attack, looting public funds

To build a nation where justice prevail
Where the citizens feel at home never a stranger at home
Where corrupt persons, officials are brought to book
Where public funds are been accounted for
Not just anyhow mumu nation


I know the system has failed us all
Lost faith in the government of the day
There is now a deficit of trust
Remember we’ve got no other nation all
We need is one man that is “You and I”

We’ve come this far will can’t throwing in the tower
We can still make it to rise from where we are
We can never be intimidated by these entire crises
Tomorrow we can wake up all be well
Let us build our nation shun corruption and act right

To build a nation where justice and peace shall reign
We are Nigerians and Nigeria must be built by us all
We’ve got no other home elsewhere but here and here alone
Let us build our nation not tear it down

Am calling on every one in respect to whatever profession
You the writers write positive things about the nation
You musicians sing a song that stirs up change never caters trophy
You directors, script writers, actors and actress make believe a good movie
That will drive the people’s vision to see a better Nigeria

The audio and visual media project a good image of our nation
Everyone we’ve got to wake to a new call nation building
Is the responsibility of us all we can not just seat
And leave everything in the hands of the government
And yet will go about blaming them for everything that happens

Born for Greatness

When you were born

The world rejoice another being has arrive

Mother earth as Mother Nature reaffirms that

You are the one she has been labouring for

And finally the pain and labour is over

A child is born

This child will change many things

To make everything work out

Born for greatness to make it big time

Because there’s a drop of greatness in this child

Where determination is predominant

Failure can not dismantle the flag of success

The seed of greatness was implanted in this child

As the world gave room for this child

Never meant to be on looker

Making headlines been the news in the news

Make things happen and letting people

Watch as things were made to happen by this child

Of what child is this?

 Was born for greatness

To excel from all works of life in each endeavour

Surmounting odds against the tides of fear and failures

Never want to be let down at the corridor of failure

Achieving each goals in greatness

As there’s a burning desire for greatness

The main focus is on achieving greatness

Greatness from within to outside

There’s a drop of greatness within each of us all

What where you born for?

Mediocrity…excellence

See the world has been waiting for your arrival

Been reserve has been my personality

I love been that way because am proud of that

Have melt so many people that says this and that

Some say am been too nice of which they contended against

Please am just been myself and I really love that

Please don’t get crossed at all for this

Am just want I am never wearing a mask

No matter what I remain to be myself

Go where you desire yet still remain myself

I work far across the distant land

As I look you from afar off

Just been watching you a full guess on you

Am so much aware of that you wanted me to speak

At time but you are so displace when I did not speak

So much to talk yet I weren’t saying anything

I am be quiet reserved and soft spoken

But I know what I’m doing

I know what I want out of life

Thou I might not possess certificates, degrees upon degrees

But I know who and I am and what I am

Because have got the backing of GOD Himself

The one that never let the storm outlive the sun

He got my back 24/7 He never uses my weakness against me

Yeah! Not at all my God, my friend, my world He is all in all

Just my world

Bear with me just please do

Is better to be yourself than going with the crowd  

Not a crowd chaser but all by myself

Am here to be what I was made to be

Living out that purpose the source of my existence

That’s me am for real

Am here to stay, to rule, to reign

That’s my world.

Within You

You are the one the world awaits

Without you there a vacuum in the world

You are meant to fulfill a purpose

Because you are created for a definite purpose

All is encased within you

To bring the best things that makes life worth living

To recover the art of living the purpose one is created for

To motivate for inspiration to challenge others to be the best

To remove fear factor from achieving anything worthwhile in life

To be among shakers of industry in various field of endavour

To bring out nothing but the best from you to others

Everything starts within you

With you lies the great resource

To make it work and break jinx

Creating a niche for yourself and the generation unborn

Within lies the poll of great innovation driven to succeed

God has given you power

To effect any change you desire (Act 1:8)

But you have to know

How to wisely present

Your case before those

In position of authority

To get the desired results

Some time ago,

a certain musician gathered

World leader together to make a decision

He wasn’t a president;

He wasn’t even a politician,

Yet he was able to pull this off.

How? He recognized himself,

As somebody special and took advantage of it

That’s the way you ought to think;

See yourself as a special person,

A man or woman of influence

That can effect a change.

To make all the needed difference in our country

Posts-anything constructive

That can make a difference.

Don’t hold back

Let no one intimidate you
