serve with heart and mind
To our
leaders at time like this
Have
will come to serve up to

vow will swore upon assuming office
Contending
and defending that vow

build a nation where peace

really building such kind of nation
Or
will are just busy chasing an empty shadow within

cannot stand up erect on its own
Does peace
really exist within?
To
build a nation where justice
The
rule of law in the eye of independence day celebration
Have
we really uphold the rule of law
As at
today 55 years down the line
Where
justice shall reign
