Someone shot them off the spotlight

Someone shot their dreams to dead

Someone murdered their passion and zeal

Someone take them off from the path to greatness

Someone blind folded them to see the finish line

Someone took off the mask of their real self

Someone forsook their real self and chase after society

Someone somewhere talk them down to walk down victory lane...Someone off the light

Someone allow the light to be taken from them

Someone allow the dictates and opinions of men

Someone allow such onions to tear them in twain

Someone allow mere mortals forming a gulf fix between them and their dreams

Someone refuse to follow the path of minority

…hmmm so many people today

Has lost it all out in the stable of pleasing society

They tend to so much attach to what society says about them

Been always in the eyes of the opinion of men

Someone shot them and take them off from where they serves best

To the un-retraced journey that made them lost it all

They lost it all in their person view about their life

They lost it all in the kind of person they want

They lost it all out in what God call them to be

The lost it just because someone off the light on them

Life’s Survival

To move from survival to success

We must begin by investing in what invest in us

Pour into relationships that pour into you

I know that sounds like common sense

But it is not so you can feed somebody else

Many people feed others

Who can’t feed them

While they completely fail to nourish

Those who really desire to feed them

Don’t muzzle the mouth of the ox that treads the grains

It simply means feed what is feeding you

If you’re feeding people who can’t feed you

It’s only a matter of time before that constant feeding

Will begin to drain you

Yes you and get that inside of you

Don’t keep feeding the same people

For years and years and all alone and long

Be intentional about the people you are connected to

THREE SET OF BEING TO MEET IN LIFE: 3 COMRADES

They are not for you

Nor are they what you are for

They are against what you are against

Comrades make strange bedfellows

They will team up with you not so you can reach your destiny

But fight a common enemy

Don’t be fooled or confused by close connection

They will only be with you until the victory happens

Comrades are like scaffolding

They come into your life to fulfill a purpose

They give you support for a time

But that time will only last as the common enemy lasts

When the purpose is complete the scaffolding is removed

Three Set of Being to Meet in Life: 2 Constituents

You will likely have many of them in your lifetime

Constituents are not into you rather they are into what you are for

They are not for you nor does your destiny matter to them

But as long as you are for what they are for

They will walk with and work with you

But it ends there

Never think they are on your team

To stay for the long haul

Constituents are not confidants

Constituents…

Understand the nature of constituents

Because these are the people who will walk away

If they meet someone else

Who will further their agenda

Always looking for a better deal constituents

They will abandon you to hook up

With another person who better serves their purpose or needs

But if you understand who constituents are and their role

And purpose in your life you wont be too sad when the walk away

They were never in your life for you

They were in your life because they perceived

That you and they were for the same thing

They were with you as long as you were for what they were for

Throughout your life it’s essential not to get caught up

In the hype of a constituency

Take care not to make the mistake

Your constituents for your confidence

Particularly at times when you are broken

Constituents will fool you because

They will break your heart

As they abandon you

To connect with someone else

Three Set of Being to Meet in Life: 1 Confidant

As we go through life here on this planet earth

We are all bound to meet with three set of people

The confidants, the Constituents and the Comrades

At every given point they all will leave us with a lesson

Now let’s meet all these three one after the other

The first I call them “Confidants”

You will have a very few of them in your life time

If you happen to find tow or three of them in your life time

You tremendously gracefully graciously blessed

I tell you this without no shadow of doubt

Confidants are the people who love you unconditionally

They are into you…they have your back

Whether you’re up and down

They are with you for the long haul

Confidants…

If you get in trouble they won’t abandon you

Confidants will come get you out of jail

They’ll pull you out of a drug house and love you all the while

You need a good confidant in order to reach destiny

Confidants are for you and with you

They are with you to make sure you reach destiny

They challenge you and confront you

To stay on the path to destiny

They will get in your business and in your face

If they think you are out of order

They are not afraid to tell you

When you’re wrong and affirm you when you are right

Without them you’ll never be who called you to be

That’s the confidants for you

Next set people is the “Constituents”

Live Your Legacy

One day life will flash through your life

Make sure it worth watching when it does

Be sure you do make it interesting with nice scenes

Because the life you have now will amount to the legacy you leave

So live your legacy

Live each day to save for tomorrow

When you drew your last breadth

When it all been said and done

The Dew of The Season

An oil of gladness

A graceful meant for a season

Wondrously kept through the storm

Lost all but recovered all through it all

Like a dew of the season it came

Descending like an ointment

Sorrowfully gone like a candle in the night

Colleges are kin in making headlines

Will these kids who will swept the entire grades

With Distinctions and Credit passes be able to stand

Just managing them through and through till they exist the school

Of what will be the teachers labour

On this kids with so much future ahead of them

Is our college producing a half bake product?

That will not be able to find their feet

When they finally secure a place in higher institution of learning

Distinct in brain be it in and out of the academic world

Distinct in character applying morals they have acquire while in school

Distinct in endavour in life where they will be found after college life

Distinct in forging ahead to higher institution of learning in pursuit their dream

Distinct in humility and humbleness irrespective of their achievement in life

Distinct in intelligence in pursuit of both academics and all ramification of life

Distinct in judgment coming to decision making in life as they move on

Endured some setbacks

His parents were concerned that he was

Mentally challenged during his developmental years

When he applied for early admission

Into the Swiss Federal Polytechnical School

He failed everything except the math and science sections of the test

Einstein had to go to a trade for a year

Before he was eligible to take the exam again

And be admitted to school

If the man who remains

The present day standard of genius

Had intellectual and educational setbacks

And got back up

Why can’t you? 

People like Einstein coupled with so many others

Succeeded because they all refuse to let lost battles

Push them out their pursuit of destiny

Success comes to those who get back up again and again

Because they are determined and unstoppable

They get back up and enroll for another semester

Even after an academic setback

They get back up after a marital challenge

And go to counseling to work out their issues

They get back up after a bankruptcy and get their finances in order

They get back up after a miscarriage and conceive again

Adopt or find fulfillment for their parental instincts

They get back up after a prison sentences

And find a legitimate means of pursing quality life

They get back up after a broken trust and still believe in the goodness of humanity

Destiny is a journey

And you will fall down a few times and maybe even more

The key that opens the door to destiny is your willingness

To get back up after delay, disappointment or even disaster

You can’t let people determine how far you are willing to go to reach destiny

Because it’s simply not their call they don’t get it, so don’t worry about them

A GOOD FIGHT!

I’ve had to do some fighting

I’ve fought my way against the odds

I fought to get to work despite hindrance

I’ve fought to keep standing up when life tried to bring me down

I’ve fought to love and loved

I’ve fought to get out of bed in the morning

Somedays when it seemed like I couldn’t endure

My present circumstances

I’ve fought to live when circumstances predict I should die

I’ve fought my doubts and my fears

I’ve fought my insecurities

I’ve fought haters and instigators, liars and betrayers

I’ve fought with family

There have even times when I lay in bed

Unable to sleep because I was fighting with myself

I’ve fought a good fight

You engage in a good fight

When you must beat the odds

Because you are determined to live in Destiny

The person who quits after a setback is not Desting-bound

These people are afraid, so they pass up opportunbities

They don’t want to get knocked down again, so they back down

There will always be challenges and setbacks

And no one is immune to a slip and fall

On the journey to Destiny

Get back up and try again! Don’t settle for the lease out of life

Because you think you’re not strong enough

GONE TOO SOON: TO A DEAD FRIEND

Fading away like the stars of the morning

Losing their light in the glorious sun

Thus will be past from this earth and its toiling

Only remembered by what we have done

You left this world at a glimpse of an eye

And you left soon like a candle in the wind you leave

You were here, will did have you with us and you have us with you

But a news broke the brokenness of the heart

The ones you left behind are lost in deep sorrowful thought

Flashes upon flashes came through every scene

The retina of my puppy eyes cut on it lense

Short sighted but death has taken long sighted

Countless of time I just can’t place or come to terms with it

Of what is life? Is this how flitting life is?

The one we see yesterday is no more gone for good today

Leaving with us that are alive lesson

To learn a lesson from to prepare for death

As no one knows when death will come knocking at our door

A life worth spending is a life live for Christ and His course

Are you living right should you die today

Is it well with your soul?

Are crucify nailing self to cross

Dead to sin alive unto God in righteousness                                                    

The best time to prepare for death is today

While it is call today live in eternity in view

Get the lamp ready for the midnight cry and be prepared to meet your God

Because tomorrow may mean goodbye

Will never know when nor how

When God calls us away our body is lie to dust

Tomorrow our soul may sigh

From beauty will left sleep by 

Oh then prepared sweet heavenly shore

Tomorrow may mean goodbye 

Rest in peace friend till we meet at His bosom of God your maker

Am grateful for the gift of life
