THE GLORY DAYS

There comes a time

When our past live flashes back at us

Life becoming a new coming to past

Right in our eyes the glory days of our life

Though in thought but is becoming life in us

The long hours of practice

That precedes into a long hours of stage arrangement

The long journey to practice venue

I was kind of the guy who loves its space

Just all by myself the glory days

I remember singing in some few years ago

Standing in the awe of God’s presence

Singing my heart out not for show

But because I love what I do

The glory days

As the glory of God descends upon the building

His people where touched and blessed

Heartbroken life restored with so soul Spirit filled songs

Preparing the heart of the people for a Word from God

The glory days

I remember playing my first instrument in life for the first time

I was so happy praying that the sound touches someone somewhere

I played the recorder from the Hymns to accompanying a song orchestral

It was awesome as I experience this connection between me and the conductor

I played a solo title “He Arose” also played in my school choir “The Halleluyah Chorus”

Those days are not past

Because am still in the awe of God’s glory

I enjoy His presence even when I fall God picks me up

Am so blessed to have Him with me all the way

His Grace got me going through this years the glory days are back and still on

GROW THROUGH THE STORM

The storms will come as we go through life

Life isn’t going to be a smooth run here

Sweet moment sure will surely come

But also don’t enjoy the sweet moment all along

Grow through the storm

As you enjoy the sweet moment of life while its last

Remember that you are going to have some bitter moment

And when it comes it will hit you so hard falling you flat at your back

That is if you don’t have a strong shock absorber you cannot

Grow through the storm

Movement will come when you refuse to forge ahead 

Giving up on everything when I mean everything

You give up on God and that’s the beginning of losing it all

You begin going down a dead end when you give up on God

You give up on yourself then you give up life heading to take your life

Grow through the storm

Before you give upon God

I due know going through the storm isn’t easy at all

And telling you to grow through the storms of life

Is like building a castle in the air or telling you a tales by moonlight

But you have to grow through the storm

The storms of frustration and depression

The storms of failed relationship and broken heart

The storms of fear of the unknown the future

The storms of financial meltdown running into bankruptcy

But no matter what you go through in life grow through the storms

It we be alright I know this is so hard to believe that

You will grow through the storms

Even there will be time when words we fail you

When you doubt the Word of God but are time

For you to doubt your doubt then grow through the storm

Is time to brace off and brave up

And give life a second chance

Because it doesn’t matter what you go through

Neither what breaks you but what you do with what breaks you

Is time to grow through the storm and that time is now

TO ADAPT IS TO SURVIVE

We live in an age

Where things are happening so fast

The air space is taking a new look

And everything seems falling inside out apart

As human we must adapt to the changes around

Is either you got cut in the fluid of these change

Or you remain out there left out in this change

As the world marches on the innovation

That surpassed human reasoning and understanding

To adapt is to survive

You need to get ready for yourself

To fit in the wave is blowing so high

It will blew you off balance

That if you are not prepared for change

You got to make sure you do all what you can to survive

Because the world is moving from zero point

To that point where it all start

Great invention are discovered here and there

A lot of things are taking centre stage

The world is beginning to become a global village

As the human brain is working faster

In racing to have a faceoff with skills and talent

Birthing forth great skills and born out of great thinkers

The brain travels at crescendo beyond what it was made off

To adapt to these great invention you need to act up to survive

My friend there was saying which says

The future is tomorrow but that world has change

The future is today now we cannot seat and wait for it anymore

Tomorrow is now to adapt is to survive that is the world we live in

To move with the change coming we need to wake up

DON’T START SMALL START PREPARED

Some people are living in fear

Fear of the unknown and uncertain

Making them not want to leave the comfort zone

Staring out for them is like a beautiful nightmare

They are afraid to start

Don’t just start small

But you have to start prepared

Knowing fully there is more to be done

And the road will never seems so small

As you prepare in starting out

Don’t start small start prepared

Be ready to have a face off

With discouragement and fear

Facing your fears and your worst nightmare

Be ready fully ready

Are you planning of going into business

Are you planning to take a course

Are you really working to build yourself self development

Or taking a new direction in your life

Don’t start small but start prepared 

Start really prepared

Make your finding do your research

Be prepared to know well where you are going

Before you step out your foot know your destination enough

Because a journey one does not prepared well enough for it

Will get such a one confuse big time

Bring in the best of the best of what you have got

Because it will really matter as you forge ahead in this journey

Is all that matters because preparation meets with kin knowledge

A ONE SIDE HUSTLE

It is required of a steward

That he or she should be found faithful

Be faithful to your employee

Don’t use your employer’s time for your personal hustle

A one side hustle

Faithfulness in little things matters

You cannot just eat in someone time

And still want to succeed in your own hustle

My friend you cannot just eat your cake and have it

A faithful steward

Not a one side hustle

One who is dedicated

Fully utilizing the employer’s time

Not eating into the employer’s time

A faithful employee in his work place

Maintaining the pace

Working towards achieving the company corporate goals

Not a selfish chase eating into the company time

In achieving your own selfish ambition with your employees time

A one side hustle

Is either you intentionally involves

Or you are fully involve in these fluid

Of a one side hustle  

You eat into someone’s time

A one side hustle

NO MATTER WHAT IT COST

When the night is far spent

And the dawns seems so far from the night

The cold of the night blows so cold so high

To you life becomes like a sleep of the night

Flying past your eyes through your nostril 

You see your life pass by your eyes

Under nose right in your eyes things begin to fall apart

The rain  has come and gone the pain is there

Cloud storms gather threaten to swallow the ship of your life alive

No matter what it cost

Be strong…have a lion’s heart

Never melt even when the heat is so high hitting boiling points

Be brave enough to go the mile and take the distance

That no matter what it cost come what may

You will be standing after the storms has come and gone

No matter what it cost

Make sure you keep your head tall

Make sure you never throw the towel in

Make sure you bring nothing but the best in

Be real and be you be open ready to have a face off

That you will surely reach the finishline

That you will stand and fight through come what may

That irrespective of the blows life throws at you

That you will stand when the battle rages giving it your best shot

No matter what it cost

Even when the road seems lonely

As you travel alone when friends and family are all gone their ways

When the one you look up to is not there

Be strong in mind and inside of you because it all starts inside there

Be committed to your goal

Have a dream don’t just build castle in the air

Got a workable timetable clearly writing out

Believe in God and believe in yourself

IT BEGINS WITH SOMETHING

It begins with a step the journey of a thousand miles

It begins with an idea conceived inside the mind

It begins with a chase towards a common goal

It begins with a dream right inside of us all

No one is born without a dream

Everyone got something to offer

Be it the one that was born in the mold house

Or the one born inside the glass house

As long as you can think as long as you got brain

You have something to offer no one is born without a dream

Don’t say you don’t have anything to offer

We all are placed right here in this space called earth

To fulfill one need or the other created for a specific purpose

So whats yours while are you here is either you are living or just existing

It begins with something

Something inside of you

Because everyone carries a diamond

Our world is full of different invention

Man has created so much since the beginning of mankind

Human race has discover and still discovering a whole lot

The world awaits your contribution

To this space called earth you occupied

Is either you are contributing or mere parasite

I know you got something inside of you

Bring it out for the world to see remember it all starts with an idea

Don’t let it die with you

Make sure that at the end of the your life journey

As you last scene of your life flashes through your eyes

And everything has come to a close

What we you leave the world with  for the world to remember you

Each accords us the privilege

To make deposit into the bank of the future

Been in every moment and making it count

This is the time to forget

The hopelessness of the past yesterday

The resentment of not forgiving yourself

Let hope resound with hope even in the midst of impossible

A hope for the better tomorrow

A hope when things are not working out the way we plan

A hope when we drowning in the water of life

A hope to hold on to hold out till we reach the finishline

We must arise from the state of hopelessness

To that stage called life and have face off with the life’s challenges

If tomorrow refuses to come and hope is gone

Everything begins to fall out of its place

Forget the yester years

Looking away from the scorgeness of the sun

And cast your eyes on the light its provide

Then walk the work knowing fully tomorrow is never far

Is time to break free from society

Is time to take off the mask you’ve worn for long

Is time to move from the comfort zone of friends

Is time to find your path where you belong

Some people are living

While others are merely existing

Some people are chasing the wind

While others are just chasing after the crowd

There comes a time

When you have to leave the crowd behind

And chase after your own very self

Because until you find yourself that’s when life we be worth living

Listen until you learn how to find that very self of yours

Life will be so much interesting to live

You cannot just be chasing shadow

You cannot just be a crowd chaser

You cannot juts be hanging out doing nothing

You cannot just be living without not existing

Because following our heart requires courage

Not just a weak courage but a strong courage
