WHERE ARE THE LIGHT: YOUTH DAY

Our youth…our future
Our youth…our light
Our youth…our beacon of hope
Our youth…our future leaders but
Where are the lights

Have our state creates
Enough enablement for us to strive
In becoming that future our elders
Will like to see when they look down
From the grave beyond us the question

Where are the lights
The light that will light our path
Of our founding father
When their eyes becomes dim
Dim to see afar off
When they need the same youth
To be the light to light their path
In the hours of darkness

Wounded...whether
Lost faith in the government of the day
As everyone is for himself God for us all
The nation is has failed them
Making them lost faith in the government of the day

Where are the lights
The light to light up
The hope that was taken
Off from the street called hope
Has hope has been hit by an hit and run car

By the car called corruption
By the car called nepotism
By the car called favoritism
By the car called poor standard of education
By the car called ill-reform no concrete result in sight

Where are the lights
That those believe in hard work
Not taking the shortcut to greatness
Who believe not in the blame game
But the one who take responsibility of all what happens

Where are the light
That we bar the cat
And bear the touch light of glory
who we stir this nation back to hope
And shine the light in the hours of darkness
