We've prayed for so long
Fasted for so long
Wait and waited on God for so long
We shout to the Lord so loud
Will chant His praise for so long
Fasted for so long
Wait and waited on God for so long
We shout to the Lord so loud
Will chant His praise for so long
Yet we're still were we are
Same spot same place and same result
Time after time we got tired
Withered like a dried leaf
Fallen off the branch of the big tree
We've lost hope and fake out
As the church begins to lose its essence
All are tired of rye state of the nation
No one seems to bother to go
And bring the nation back to her former state
We've called a national prayer meeting
Hosted crusade in so many big cities
Alas the revivalist took the revival with him
As he was going back to where he came from
Long afterwards the crusade has ended
For the church to fix Nigeria
We must be sure to fix the church first
And the isn't the building which are the bricks
No matter how beautiful the building is
If the church doesn't have impact
In the society where she exist
She lost it essence of existence
The church needs to fix its members first
If she we fix the nation Nigeria
The fixing has to start within first
Enough of wishy washing kind of miracle
What we need is the miracle of the mind
To reed the pollution of the mind
As everything starts from the mind
How can the church fix Nigeria
Each member must hold each other accountable
As nation building isn't left to one person alone
Is a collective responsibility
If we must fix this all hands must be at work.
Is a collective responsibility
If we must fix this all hands must be at work.
