Everyone is watching from afar
No one wants to talk about it
As fear grips all no one
Wants to air their view
On the current state of the nation.
Only just a deep sigh
As words want to come out
Each one is mindful of his or her utterance
As silence prolongs upon declaration
Of the winner but alas
Nothing beat imagination
When it suppose to be a drum
From jubilation to an outrageous jubilant
But what do we see just as if
The whole masses were thrown into national mourning.
While we quietly wait and watch
As events for the day unfolds
Yet victimization and intimidation
Continues to outplay as each one is
So scared and afraid to talk.
Standing and watching
The nation from afar off
Our nation is placed in a pause mode
We have lost the excitement
That we as citizens enjoy in our nation.
