As I write this
Unemployment is still on the rise
By the time you read these words, who knows?
The situation may have changed
Don’t be fooled

When employment and real estate
Values turn around and credit loosens up again
As the inevitably will don’t be lulled
Into that same old sense of false security
That got you and the rest of the world into this mess.

We aren’t just fooled once
We let ourselves be fooled over and over again
We all grew up hearing the fable of the ant and grasshopper
But the overwhelming majority of us
Keep living with the foresight of grasshopper anyway.

Don’t be distracted by the headlines
There is always some idiotic buzz going on
That tries to pull your attention away
From the serious or the latest election cycle scandals
It’s got nothing to do with what you need
To be doing today to build the future.

The economy is not the issue the issue is you
Are you angry at the corruption in the corporate world
In the office and the big banks that let this happen
At the government for not doing enough of the right things
Are you angry at yourself for not taking control sooner?

Life is tough
The question is what you are going to do about it
Moaning and groaning won’t secure your future
Neither will blaming the offices and corporate world

We live in troubled in time
The last few years have brought
Us a steady parade of fear
And panic in the headline
Boardrooms and kitchen table.

Globalization, outsourcing
Downsizing foreclosures
Subprime mortgage and credit default swaps
Ponzi schemes and recession
It’s just one piece of bad news after another.

Unemployment is at 10.2%
And still rising and underemployment
Where your job stay in place
But your hours and pay
Are drastically cut back is even worse.

The rampant decline in gainful employment
Is a ravaging epidemic to which few are immune
From executives and middle managers
To administration employees and blue workers
From bankers to retail clerks all at risk.

Even the healthcare industry
Until recently considered a job safe zone
Is trimming away significant chunks of its workforce
In the fall of 2008 a lot of people’s retirement portfolio
Suddenly lost half their value or more.

Real estate crashed
What people thought were their solid
Reliable asset turned out to be solid as water vapor
Job security gone a thing of the past
The rules has changed.

WHEN THE HOME GOES THROUGH CHALLENGING TIMES.

Every home has their issues
Every family has their differences
And sometimes these issues and differences
Overwhelmed one and takes a toll on one
In the end if not well managed things get ruined
To the fiber of the existence of that home.

But it takes the people in such a home
To make sure the home is safe heaven
After the storms has come and gone
See everyone got their excess
But the ability to manage these excess.

Is linger and grew
To the great success of such a home
To keep the life of the home going
One needs to stand stall and not
To differ when challenges happens.

To save the home and make the home safe
One must savage the pitfalls
That stand to serve as a threat
To breaking and make a mire of such a home
If peaceful resolution is not ensue
So much will be broken to asunder.

During these time
The strength and love of such a home is tested
The wind will blow the storm will come crushing
But on whose foundation will determine
If such a home will stand.

If you built on faulty foundation
Such a home won’t last
It will crush at crescendo in couple of seconds

Will be lost just within a flit of second.

When a home faces challenges
Is left to the two key people involve
To savage the situation so the children in such a home
Won’t bear the brunt of the whole mass destruction

I JUST WITNESS A MURDER.

This life nothing last long
You belief you have it today
Wait for tomorrow’s dawn arrival
When it all be said and done
And nothing matters anymore.

They slay people’s will to live at will
As if no one created such a life
Nor these slain folks did not belong to a family.
 
Our street are turned into mourning
As everyone is stay tuned
To see what happens next
As blood of injustice stained
The street of our beloved and unloved country.

Many citizens of the state
Has lost the love they have for the nation
And have moved from being beloved to unloved
Unloved when life’s and property
 
Never matter again
To the one who seat in the seat of power
Who’s stealing on a large industrial scale
Is now the norms of the our existence
That characterize our everyday life.
 
I just witness murder
Where the will of the people
Was snatch right in the broad day light
As everyone look on so helpless
But posterity awaits us all in the long run.
 
I just witness a murder
Where truth prevail over lies
Just because the highest bidder
Get the staff of rod of justice
Our judicial system becomes a basket that cannot hold Justine tight.
 
 

YOUR LIFE ISN'T OVER

Never let your struggles
Makes you think so
I know your setbacks will make you
But this we be your come back
You see strength pain builds that.
 
I know it might be hard
For you to feel that
But even your darkest storms
There is a plan for you to shine bright
Please believe it I know becaue God did it for me.
 
God will not allow you
To go to places you don’t understand
Just to bring to the place where
He needs you to be
So don’t let the season take your life.
 
You can win this fight
There is a purposing going through your pain
Sometimes it takes the hardest storm
To birth the greatest dream
Your life is not finish you keep living
 
It doesn’t matter
What happen in your past
Is just a choice away from a new beginning
There is more to be with
Your prospect will empower your prison
 
So no matter what
Appreciate your life
And build your testimony
With the test you are giving
I know depression is real.
 
But I now of a truth
You can heal from those affliction
And stand great up shoulder tall.

WHEN ALL GOD'S CHILDREN GET HOME

One after the other

We all are leaving 

God's general are taking their leave

Each one with a footprint behind

Of a well honest report of what was done.

It we be a time
Of some much to share
How we labour for Lord's work
And the souls we have won to Christ
The life we've touched as a living example.

When all God's children get home
It will be victory at last
When all our trials turns to triumph
Our body is rest from earth toiling
As we join the angel in worshipping the Lamp forever.

To the Lamp who was slain for our salvation

To the Holy Lamp of God whose bore our pain 

To the Lamp who took our infirmities and heal our disease

To the Lamp who will reward our labour of love

When all God's children get home.

It won't be long

Will be going home

We'll be leaving here

Count the weeks as days.

Count the days as month

Count the month as year

Any day now will be leaving home

DEPRESSION IS REAL

Life is life
When life itself is so interesting
Give a smile to those you meet
Along the road called life
Just a smile can safe a whole lot.

It can go a long way
To calm the tense up indivual
Who is so tensed about life
Life itself is really tough these days
Depression is real.

Just a word of encouragement
Showing love to everyone
Everywhere we go as long as man is found
Saving them from the storms of life
To bring them to shore again.

Just a hug
Just a hand of fellowship
Just a smile to the world
Just a words of reassurance
We take off depression from being real.
