Letter From War

From the battle field
Comes a letter home to the mother
Whose son was out in the battle field
In defense of his nation whom he dearly love
The letter was written before the tragedy struck

On that morning they come in face with the enemy
Every man for himself as each one struggles to combat
Each of their enemies now in face to face with them
As the battle prevail and rages the air is filled with confuse noise
Every man waging the welfare to never to be defeated

Oh alas!  From no where the stray bullet of the enemy
Struck this young man from the behind
There was a sigh of pain stimulus struck
As so slowly he heads back to the floor
With hands held up high

Then was taken off to a safe place
For quick first aid assistance by the doctor on ground
Was a little revive to last for some few hours
As hours past by life starts flitting away subtlety
He knew within himself that was the scene of his life

He ask for a permission to send a letter
A letter from war to his loving mother at home
The expectant mother praying each day
For God to bring back his son and colleagues safely
Bringing for nothing but safety and conquest at least

But never know that tragedy has already occur
That morning the letter found its way home to the mother
It reads mummy it is all over few days ago at the battle field
When we embark on a journey to have a fierce confrontation
With the enemy suddenly a straw bullet from the enemies camp

Came straight right behind me as know was on the watch out for me
As every man become his own guide watches out for himself
That’s how this enemy sighted that I was .alone in fight with is fellow one
That’s how a bullet was release and gets at me thou the doctor on ground
Tried everything to revive me back to life but his effort was unfruitful
After days of me battling in between life and death but death won
