But you’d better be sure you’re holding
Them accountable for the right results
And to the right standards

Otherwise, you’ll see commitment
Dwindle and die
There’s a better way to achieve results
And that’s to make sure that you’re accountable
For will produce the result you want

One of the keys to achieving
The kind of accountability
That produce world class result
Is the willingness on both sides
Employee and employer to look with a fresh
And unbiased eye at 
How those results are best achieved

That may mean changes in accountabilities
Strategies benchmarks and producers
But how much more will be achieved
When all participants are confident
That the actions they’re taking 
Are going to produce
The world class results they desire

Companies need to remember
That while results are important
The people who get whose results
Are the company’s biggest resource
Therefore companies need to be accountable 

To their people so their people 
Will be accountable for the result 
Smart companies today are people centric
They put their people first 
Because they know that 
Committed and connected people
Will be accountable for world-class results
