BEFORE YOU JUMP

Life with some many uncertain
Life just happen at the moment
When we do not know anything about
It just happen out of the blue
Before you jump

Make sure you look well enough
Be sure you jump well to the line
To that line that will up light you so high
Beyond the critics of men
Before you jump be sure

You got a strong shock absorber
That will bounce you back to your feet
In attaining what you want out of life
Some jump will change your life for good
Some will shape your life forever

Life just can never happen
To the one who is afraid to jump
Whose got a stronger will against change
If tomorrow never comes and you refuse to set out
You remain in your yesterday because of fear of the unknown

Before you jump
Take off fear from your mind
You must come out from the shell
And become that which you were created to be
Remember tomorrow is sure for the one who does work
The mile in engraving the footprints on the sand of time

Life will be there for you always
Just need a step take it
Don’t be afraid to chase the dream
Be it high or low but jump so high to attain high
And before you jump be realistic

DON’T GIVE AWAY YOUR POWER

Every day we have plenty opportunities
To be upset, to be frustrated and to be offended
Maybe the day’s plans didn’t work out
Or somebody was rude at the office
Or a job that should have taken one hour too three

Life is full of insolvencies
There will always be interruptions and difficult people
We can’t control all our circumstances
But we can control our reactions
Don’t give away your power

Life is ten percent of what happens to you
And ninety percent how you respond
Go into each day positive, helpful and expecting Gods favour
But at sometimes be realistic
Knowing that most days won’t go exactly as you planned

If you become stressed because you are off scheduled
Frustrated because someone offended you
Or upset because your child wouldn’t eat breakfast
You are giving away your power

It’s good to have a plan
But at first part of everyday submit to God and just say
God this is what I would like to accomplish today
But I know you’re in control
So I submit my plans to you

And I’ve decided in advance
That no matter what comes my way
I will stay in peace knowing you are directing my steps
And that all things will work together for my good

But too many people these days
Have the wrong approach to life
They think they can’t be happy unless
They control all their circumstances and everything goes their way
But that’s not realistic you have to come to the place where you can say

I don’t have to have my way to have a good day
My plans don’t have to work for me to be happy
Everybody doesn’t have to treat me right for life to be enjoyable

GIVE PEOPLE ROOM TO GROW

Our churches should not be museums
To display perfect people
They should be hospitals to help
The hurting and the lonely
Before you judge anyone let me ask

Have you walked in their shoes?
Do know their story?
Did she have good parents?
Who gave her wisdom and guidance?
Did they make her valuable and loved 

Or was she taken advantage of
Have you tried to see life from her perspective?

Give people a little room
While they’re in the process of changing
Maybe the girl who walks into the church
Is trying to turn her life around
Give people room to grow

Maybe God put that co-worker next to you
Not so you could judge him
But so you could help love him back into wholeness
Your attitude should be God how can I help this person
Come up higher

What can I do to inspire them to become better?
How can I make them feel more loved, more accepted
More valuable, more secure
The closest thing to the heart of God
Is helping the hurting people

The amount of love, mercy, understanding and compassion
You give to others will be given back to you by God
The Holy Scriptures affirm it this way
We who are strong ought to bear with
The failings of the weak

You have to put up with flaws and over look faults
You have to make allowances for the weakness of others
Bottom line is this…be generous with your mercy
Show acceptance to everyone not just those who are like you
Give people room to grow

BE A ROSE AMONG THORNS

You don’t have to allow a bad environment
To affect your happiness don’t focus on the weeds
You may be spending all your time
So to speak trying to pull all the weeds
In other words

Trying to fix everything in your life
Trying to make people do what’s right
Trying to straighten out all your co-workers
You cant change people only God can
Be a rose among thorns

If somebody wants to be a weed
No matter what you do
They will be a weed
Spending all your time and energy
Trying to change them will keep you from blooming

One of the best things you can do
Is just bloom bigger than ever
Right in the middle of those weeds
Right in the middle of those negative and critical co-workers
Put a big smile on your face

Be kind…be friendly
When they complain don’t preach a sermon to them
Don’t try to stop them
Your job is not to pull up the weeds
Your job is to bloom just have a good report

The more they complain
The more grateful you should be
The more they talk defeat
The more you should talk victory

TAKE YIELD TO YOURSELF

Before you lead other people
Lead yourself
Before you talk to other people
Take to yourself
Before you correct other people
Correct yourself

Before you let people respect you
Respect yourself
Before you feel love by others
First love yourself enough to give out love
Before you teach other humility
You first be humble humility starts with you

Before you teach others
First you be enough to be teachable
Before you teach others the act of service
You become a servant to them first
Take yield to yourself

Practice what you preach
Be the principles you teach out
Be real in all sense don’t fake anything at all
A double standard being will eventually fall for everything
Take yield to yourself

Enough to be realistic enough to be you
Been the real of yourself pays in all ways
Be in it in your attitude nor character better still dealings
Becoming the one you want to see in others
Take yield to yourself

Before you lead be the leader
You desire to see leading you
Don’t be too full and drunk with power
Be exemplary in all sense not just in part
Take yield to yourself and contain it

AS WE CELEBRATE LOVE

A universal language that transcend
Every human language speaking the same
Feeling, desire, hope, excitement and passion
Uniting two total strangers to live as one soul
Becoming soulmate inseparable lock in love

Never a lust kind of love turned outside
But a love that comes out of a pure heart
Rendering the soul becoming like an infant
Mind so clean not preeminent of evil deeds within
As we celebrate love

Making sure will celebrate love in its entirety
Not a kind of self hearted kind of love
But a whole hearted kind of love
From me to you to the one out there
Who is a stranger to us

But treating everyone as one
In respect and reference
Towards one towards all
Let’s remember for our world to be a better
Will must let love lead

Not a love that hates
Not a love that slender
Not a love that is lust in deeds, desire and passion
Not a love that shut his or her ears to its neighbor’s cry of need
As we celebrate love

Let’s reach our world with love
Let’s dry off the tears from the weeping eyes
Let’s try as much to be feet to the lamp
Let’s feed the hungry ones around us who is hungering for love
As we celebrate love let there be peace in our world

With love and peace will scale through a whole lot
With love we conquer our biggest mountain of fear and hate
With love and peace will chase this monster of hatred far from us
With love we can dive into the deepest part of the ocean and come out strong
With love and peace everything is possible to achieve without fear of failing
As we celebrate love lets these all be our watchword making the world a better place

OVER THE YEARS

We’ve revolve around what the world
Made out of us all from our arrival
To the moment we knew it all
Things that shape our existence
Things that beclouded our living

Over the years
We chase the dream
We have crossed the line so many a times
When life becomes what we never thought of
We stood when no one was there

Over the years
We have been able to differentiate
Between real love and fake love
Between friendship and foe
Between truth and lies

Over the years
We have run the race of life
Right from the starting line
To the great task of scaling several odds
In attaining to the shore in reaching the finishline

Over the years
We’ve lost friends that matters
With relationship sever intwian when it was so sweet
Cares so much for those who never cared for us
Several night of unending tears all alone just you and God

Over the years
We’ve gone through unseemly painful moments
But we stood strong through it all seeing a glimpse
Of a greater light that turns into halogen lamps
Over the years have revolve around great pains and dishearten moments

To come out strong
Stronger then my past pains
Better then my yesterday disappointments
More sure of who am becoming in the midst of it all
Because with my source am nothing
God and His grace kept me through these moments

POURING IT ALL OUT TO GOD

I have poured it all out unto Him in my secret place

The one who knows me before I was formed
I went just all by myself no one pushing me
Or chasing me around to be who I am not
But I went there all my heart in it

It was a day of reckoning for me
As I seat all alone at the end of the day
As the day’s activities are all gone
And I long to go back to the place where I was once
Pouring it all out to God

In spheres of silence I found Him
In the depth of my heart I cried unto Him He heard me
In the loneliness of the worlds crowd He is always there
In the midst of searching for companion He came along
In the midst of unseemly impossible situation He made a way

I felt it so real not unrealistic
Like the man-made kind of dogmatic doctrines of men
But I come plain through the eyes of His Son
His grace got me so real that I feel the sins has left scare
The scarce has left pain but wait how could He recognize me

I wasn’t the same like when I first I knew
That night when I knelt on my knees in the night
But the passion and pleasures with the things of the this world
Has taken the cross from my side but I long to go back
Pouring it all out to God in prayer and heart rending moment

Going back to the place where I was once
As the spirit fails on me but I can’t stay any longer
And that cry came so loud and clear that I can hear myself
From right within my spirit man saying
Take me back to Calvary to that place where I started

Break the chains and let me go free
But I can’t stay any longer just take me
Break me and remold me to that person you want me to be
Break, purge and purify this heart of mine make it Holy for You alone
Bring me to yourself let me walk beside you all my days belonging to you

HOME LIKE NO OTHER

In the midst of unseemly relationship
In the midst of unfriendly affiliations
In the midst of hates and deceptiveness
In the midst of the troubles of life
Found peace of heart, soul and mind in the presence of God

Where the family I belong
So strong and loving
In pure heart and clean soul
With peacefulness and nice coexistence
Home like no other

A home that’s like no other
Full of mercy, love and grace
And though it’s been a long time
I’ve never felt that far
Cause you were always on my mind
And you were always in my heart

So is good to be home
Where I know that I belong
Inside this house of love with a family so strong
And I’m here to worship and pour out my offering
In the presence of His love I’m never alone

And by faith we believe
And proclaim our deepest love
To give our everything
To a glow beyond us and when it’s cold outside
It’s always warm right here it’s good to be home

OUR HEART SAYS IT ALL

In the midst of our silenceness in the skinniness of our heart
Of our heart sends some words out
Words that cannot be said by the mouth
We just flow on and flow into our world
Our heart says it all

We tried as much to follow our heart
Left all alone by ourselves in searching for a common ground
Where we tend to belong as our hearts thought burns us
Like a wild fire threatens to tears us asunder

Where we were to where we want to belong
From the start of it all to the end of it all
We where there chasing the dream
Working out early and late up all night long
Our heart says it all

When we come at a cross road
And we look here and there
In search for the advice and counsel
To keep us going in making today's decision for tomorrow’s result

When we tend to turn away
From what keep us been alive and going
The people we have in our life
Are just there watching us from a distance
To see what our heart will become of us

Our world becomes so slim and lonely
We fought the fight head long with depression
Frustration becomes our close acquaintance we ever get
Our hearts longs for answers to many questions it pumps out
Our heart says it all

But Heaven holds all the answer
That time itself could ever tell
There is a cry from distant land
Only the one who’s crying can know the reason behind the cry
Because our hearts says it all when our lips are sealed up

DOES HE STILL FEELS THE NAIL?

The day that Jesus died
Three cross stood at Calvary
As the chant of the people
Grows louder and re-inchanting
Far across the distance land o’er hills

The world witness a new break
Of a new dawn horizon within
From the earth’s crust it springsforth
Greater things to come of the past
In rewriting the future to come

This world was lost Calvary
Opens new way all the troubles of mankind
All tears of human race Calvary
Set them all Jesus conquers them all
Thank God for Calvary

It was on the Calvary
Sinners was cleanse from sin
Life threaten satiation was averted
And redemption story was retold
Tomorrow got a chance of a better glimpse in today

The nail driven into his hands
He felt the agony of sin
He never committed He bear it all out
Many year has come and gone
Yet the cross still remains the same

Its power still remain strong
As the blood at Calvary still flowing
There is still redemption for the soul undone
There is still cleanse for the wayward one
Is still growing strong and still growing well

Does He still feel the nails
Every time I fail?
Does He hear the crowd cry
Crucify, again?
Am I causing Him pain?
Then I know I've got to change
I just can't bear the thought
Of hurting Him again
